Scotland, August 2007--Part 3

Following church and lunch on Sunday, we went to a local park--Craigton Park. It was probably one of the best parks any of us had ever visited. The playgrounds were amazing. Lots of equipment you could actually get hurt on, if you tried.

Huge crater-shaped swings,

rope swings that bounced and twirled and swayed,

a jungle gym constructed of ropes,

and a few slides and such.

The park had other playgrounds as well as a small train and a rowboat pond.

If that was not enough, there were also botanical and topiary gardens, with lots of stonework to climb on and around.

And, of course, trees.

On Monday, we drove to Dundee where we saw the RRS Discovery and the accompanying museum explaining the Antarctic exploration.
Samantha decided she'd like to study and draw animals on explorations.....in warmer climates.

After lunch, we spent some time at a wonderful indoor water park for some fun and relaxation.
